(CW: Weight Gain, light spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 3) The Axiom, one of the many final arks of humans long ago. Meant to serve as a temporary resort while their planet was being cleaned from trash ended up becoming a permanent home for humanity, 700 years later in the depths of space. Humans had evolved to become fat, sedentary, and lazy over the course of centuries, which resulted in a new problem for them: the Heartless. They’ve become easy targets for the Heartless to feast and devour, already many Axioms have succumbed to the darkness. This one in particular was a special case, one that fought against the darkness. “Could you not push me around?” VENT-AS/Ven, was shoved out of the storage room, the smaller robot looking up grumpily at his taller counterpart, TERR-A/Terra. “Sorry, but you got the short end of the stick, figuratively and literally.” Terra gave out a robotic laugh. The two looked back at their other companion, waiting for her to get out already. “…Whyyyyyyy did I have to get stuck with this stupid magical disguise…?” Aqua complained, as she looked like one of the many rotund humans bound to their hover chairs. She was already picking at the skin tight blue suit that clung to her every curve, every little movement made her globular jelly belly jiggle like the flan Heartless. She gave a pout, her chubby cheeks turning red as her doughy arms were so thick it was hard to cross them, let alone cross them over or under her generous chest. Terra couldn’t help but point and laugh over the poor keyblade master’s predicament. Ven, on the other hand, looked to the floor with his hands behind his back. “Ugh, you two are of no help…” Aqua struggled with the controls of the hover chair for a few minutes till she was able to figure out how to move around properly. The group had two main goals: stop the Heartless problem, and find any leads on Sora’s whereabouts. Should be simple and clean, though the former was always more of a chore than the latter. The three observed their surroundings, watching the fast paced motorway for machines and humans go by in a blur. “…y’know, this is a whole lot different from Deep Space.” Ven spoke up. “I wouldn’t talk so loud if I were you. You wouldn’t want Donald popping up out of nowhere just to scold us about the world border-“ “-WORLD ORDER!” Aqua and Ven interrupted Terra as the three of them shared a laugh. The peaceful moment didn’t last very long as Terra felt a hard THUNK against him. “Hey what the-“ Terra looked down to see a small robot panicking and pointing ahead of the group. “What’s wrong with him?” Aqua asked, as the three of them watched the poor robot whirring around in circles. “EEE-VA! EEE-VA!” It kept yelling and shouting. Ven turned to look at what it was pointing at, seeing in the distance a few machines swarming a hovering stretcher. Ven looked a bit closer to see that said machines had the Heartless emblem on their chests. “Hey guys! We got some trouble over there!” He pointed out to his friends. Aqua and Terra looked over and spotted the commotion, as the three of them summoned their keyblades and sped after the Heartless… to an extent. By the time Ven and Terra showed up on the scene, Aqua was only halfway there. “Come on tons of fun, hurry up!” Terra half-heartedly joked as Aqua huffed. “I don’t know how to make this thing go faster!” She complained as she finally showed up. Shadows, Guardians, and Large Bodies began to appear around the trio, as they all readied their keyblades. “What’s got them so worked up?” Ven questioned as he went and struck the first blow. Terra rushed in after him, while Aqua struggled to keep up. “I don’t know, but they’re a whole lot more aggressive than usual!” Terra shouted as he tried to keep them at bay while also trying to help out Aqua on her end. “I can *huff* handle this myself Terra! Just *huff* gimme a moment…” Aqua had already worn herself out from barely even getting in enough swings to slay a Shadow let alone keeping the Heartless off her back. Ven and Terra had to pick up the slack, especially since they had to deal with beefier forms of Heartless. The small robot from before had whirred on through, zapping Heartless with a laser from between its eyes while trying to protect the blank white pod on the stretcher. “Hey! Get out of here before you get hurt!” Ven yelled at the robot. “WHOA!” The robot ducked its head in time to miss getting smacked by a Heartless. Thanks to the robot’s cooperation, Ven and Terra had managed to clear out the small swarm of Heartless while also keeping Aqua unharmed. “Thanks for the help back there.” Terra gave a thumbs up to the robot. The robot looked at Terra, Ven, and Aqua as it shifted its eyes up and down. “WALL-E.” He said pointing at himself. “Oh! Well I’m Ven!” Ven introduced himself. “Terra.” “I’m Aqua. Thank you for the help WALL-E.” Aqua turned to her teammates, head sunken low. “Sorry for not being much help you guys. I can’t really do much in this body, look at me!” Aqua flailed her arms as they wobbled freely. Ven was staring intently and in awe, while Terra smacked him from behind his head. “HEY!” Ven snapped at his taller comrade. “If you’re done gawking, our new friend is already gone with whatever he was guarding.” Terra pointed out. Ven and Aqua looked over to see that WALL-E had hitched a ride with the stretcher, now already out of sight. “Something must be going on with that pod if WALL-E’s trying to stop the Heartless from getting to it.” Aqua inquired. Before anyone could chime in, a low growling sound had surrounded the trio. “...what was that?” Terra asked, looking around as he whipped out his keyblade. “...me…” Aqua shyly admitted, blushing profusely as her gut growled. “I, uh, guess we gotta make a pitstop then.” Ven suggested. It was due time for the trio to start exploring the vast vessel, and to get to the bottom of why the Heartless were there. After passing through the motorways of robots and machines, the trio found themselves amongst the more human populated areas. Everywhere they looked there was people that looked like Aqua, sipping on shakes and doom-scrolling on their screens without a care in the world. “Jeez, this is kinda depressing…” Terra spoke up as he observed the people around him. “Is this why I’m so slow and sluggish?” Aqua questioned, looking at her doughy sausage fingers. It was difficult to hold her keyblade due to the excess fat in her hands, which made Aqua begin to worry that she’d just drag her teammates down on this mission. Ven was mesmerized by all the bright lights of the billboards, the transportation, how massive the place was, it was a surprise he didn’t get lost. Well, that and he couldn’t keep his eyes off of Aqua either. Ven felt Terra flick him on the head, turning to his friend with a glare. “Could you make it ANY more obvious Ven?” He talked in a quieter tone so that Aqua wouldn’t overhear. “…I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Ven looked off to the side. “Riiiiiiiight, hey y’know, you outta put a password on your Gummiphone by the way.” The words echoed from Terra right into Ven’s now panicking brain/CPU. “Also, probably a bad idea to fall asleep with it on too.” Terra gave a smug look, knowing all of Ven’s dirty little secrets. Ven turned to Terra, clutching his arms as he shook the latter. “DO. NOT. MENTION. ANYTHING TO HER. UNDERSTAND?!?” Ven threatened. Terra’s eyes widened as he pointed ahead of them. “Uh, won’t be able to.” He noted, as his friend turned to see Aqua was no longer there with them. “…uh oh.” “She’s a big girl, both figuratively and literally, so she should be able to handle herself just fine.” Terra commented. “H-hey, at least she’s easy to spot right?” Ven suggested. Soon a booming voice came through the speakers in the ship: “ATTENTION! TRY BLUE! IT’S THE NEW RED!” The voice suggested, as hundreds and hundreds of the tubby humans all decided to swap to blue suits instead of their usual red at the same time. The two keyblade wielders stood there absolutely dumbfounded at how poor their luck was at that moment. “…you just HAD to speak up.” Terra crossed his arms. “YEAH WELL IF YOU HADN’T-“ “-HEY SOMEBODY HELP ME OVER HERE!!!” The argument was quickly interrupted by the sound of a man screaming for help, as there had been a man knocked out of his chair struggling to get back up on the floor, with what seemed to be Fluttering Heartless and Shadows starting to swarm the poor man. Ven and Terra looked at each other and nodded in a silent agreement, as they rushed over to help the person out. Bf1a70ba-5b4f-4038-93a4-1dea27c70c9a “Mmmpf! Oh my Gosh, these shakes are soooooooo good!” Aqua was currently indulging herself on a few sea salt ice cream shakes that she received from the cafeteria section. As of right now she had just gotten off the monorail, taking in the sights of the Lido Deck. Artificial sunlight, a view of the captain’s quarters, and of course- “Wow! I didn’t know they had a pool!” Aqua stated as she continued sipping on her shake. Aqua wasn’t too lost in the shake, as she managed to spot WALL-E from a distance, looking like he was heading towards the captain’s quarters. “Hey you guys, look it’s-“ she turned to see that her companions weren’t even there behind her. “…great. Well Aqua, looks like it’s back to having to do things yourself.” The blue haired woman huffed, as she finally managed to get a hang of the hover chair’s speed function to catch up to WALL-E, to an extent. She hid behind the doorway, watching him go up the elevator to the Captain’s Quarters. “Well, at least it’s not stairs.” She told herself. After waiting a few minutes she decided to continue her pursuit of WALL-E. Aqua pulled up to what was essentially a front desk with a large robot hanging from the ceiling, making clicking sounds from the keyboard beneath it. “Uh… e-excuse me!” She spoke up to grab its attention. “Can I go up there? I need to catch up with my friend. Please?” Aqua used her secret technique, a move so effective that she managed to con Ven and Terra out of numerous ice creams: pitiful puppy eyes. The robot stared at her before clicking the button to open the elevator, waving at her eagerly. “Thank you!” Aqua waved back as she ascended upwards in the tube. “W-Where’s the thingy?” “THE PLANT, CAPTAIN.” “Right! Where’s the plant?” Aqua had just arrived when Captain B. McCrea and AUTO had opened up the white pod to find out there was no plant at all. The pod looked distraught, as it was zooming around, scanning to hopefully find a plant to prove itself to the Captain. Aqua stayed hidden behind the elevator tube, only to find WALL-E tugging at her side. “AQUA!” WALL-E did his best to keep a hushed tone. “WALL-E! SHHHH!” Both Aqua and the pod shushed him. “EEE-VA!” WALL-E bounced with joy. “Eva?” Aqua questioned quietly looking at the pod. “EVE.” She said pointing at herself. All three of them were then jumpscared by a small robot named GO-4 as it hissed at them violently, making all three of them jump out in direct sight. “AHHHHHH!” The Captain let out a yelp in shock, as he and AUTO stared at the three. “Who the heck are you two?!?” The Captain pointed directly at Aqua and WALL-E. The little cubed robot whirred right up to the Captain, shaking his hand as he left bits of dirt in his palm. “WALL-E.” The robot introduced himself with excitement in his voice. “A-And I’m Aqua, sir.” Aqua sat up straight while giving a salute, her arm wobbling from sudden movement. The Captain took a moment to calm down and assess the situation, looking up at AUTO. “AUTO, have the EVE unit sent down for defective programming, and uh… have WALL-E… cleaned.” He ordered. “AYE AYE, SIR.” AUTO responded, having WALL-E and EVE escorted out of the room. Aqua sat there fiddling her sausage fingers, awaiting what possibilities could arise from her situation. “You said your name was… Aqua, right? What brings you here with the other two robots?” The Captain questioned, as AUTO positioned itself to stare right into Aqua’s soul from what it felt like. “You mean WALL-E and EVE?” “No no no, the other ones, AUTO you wanna pull up surveillance footage?” The Captain dismissed Aqua’s question as AUTO pulled up camera footage of Aqua fighting Heartless with Ven and Terra. “Oh! Those are my friends!” Aqua pointed out. “Those are the Heartless, sir. They’re known to cause trouble and even bring about disastrous events.” She explained. “HEARTLESS?” AUTO appeared next to Aqua, startling her near out of her seat. “Relax, that’s AUTO. You’ll get used to him. But these… Heartless, we’ve gotten reports of creatures like them attacking other Axiom ships. Yet you and your friends know more than what you let on.” The Captain explained. “Right now, details can be spared for later. We need a way to get these things off the ship, they’ve been nothing but trouble the past couple of months, and we’re low on security droids thanks to them.” The Captain felt winded after not even that lengthy of an explanation. “Point is, will you lend us a hand?” Before Aqua could give an answer, AUTO decided to interject. “CAPTAIN. IT WOULD BE UNWISE TO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE FROM STOWAWAYS.” The Captain groaned and rolled his eyes. “Stowaways or not, I’m willing to get any sort of help. It’s worth the risk if it means keeping everyone alive, AUTO.” The Captain refuted, turning to Aqua. “Sir, I’ll do everything I can to keep the Heartless out of here. I just need to find my friends first.” Aqua explained. The Captain nodded with a smile across his face. “Then you might be able to find them in Diagnostics, it was reported two strange robots were taken there after dealing with the Heartless.” “I’ll get right to it then! Wish me luck!” Aqua waved over as she went to the elevator, heading down with the mission of finding her friends and freeing everyone from the Heartless. If only she knew what was really going on.
