They're designed so you can just upload the pic to SillyTavern, Venusai, , Agnai, etc and start using it. I had preferred those frontends over CAI because as long as you have your own GPT or Claude key to pop in (or are running a locally hosted LLM), then you dont have to deal with CAI's bullshit filter. Some of those bots have their definitions updated to act much more free and raunchy thanks to that fact, so I'd prefer if you dont try to put them back on CAI because its the absolute worst way to experience them, plus they may immediately get shadowbanned. I never had used spicychat so I dont know if it has an upload card feature or even what LLM they use so your mileage will vary.
