For Pony, if you are into realism, you'll want the CyberRealisticPony checkpoint. This gives you realistic generations, but it will decrease the effect of certain Pony LoRAs. Most LoRAs are trained against the PonyDiffusionV6XL checkpoint model weights and will have the strongest and most consistent effect on that, but LoRAs aren't everything. For those who don't mind a little bit of animation style creeping in, you can use something like PrefectPonyXL or AutismMixPony and get semi-realism with fully functioning LoRAs to add specialty details. The first LoRA that you'll want to run your model through is the Extreme_Obesity_Generator_for_Females. After that, you can run it through whatever Pony-related LoRAs you can find. You'll want to stick with the LoRAs specific to pony and not try to mix base XDSL LoRAs or illustrious LoRAs, although they have been known to sometimes work. (All are descendents of SDXL) You'll want to stick with the LoRAs specific to Pony. Even if you do a non-realistic rendering of an image you can always wash it again through cyber realistic pony but choosing only an Euler Ancestral sampler with 40 steps, and starting at step 15 to 20, depending on how much of the original image you wish to keep. Use the same prompts and LoRAs when you do this final realism wash. The BiggerGirls Model Bv2 had a great run, but Pony is state of the art now.
