Hey all. You might have seen that I've recently made the switch from SD1.5/Aurora Borealis to PonyXL/Symix. Today, I was getting a tad bored of just the handful of artists within Symix, and was missing the variety we had with all the custom single-artist loras that were made for SD 1.5 (Trinity Fate, etc) that never made the leap to SDXL or Pony. So, I started falling down a rabbit hole with style loras on CivitAI. I tried 100 of the best rated or most interesting looking style loras, with the same fairly generic character (sae chabashira) with the only thing really changing between loras being the seed and what expression. If you're like me and just crave variety but don't exactly know what style might be a good fit, have a look here: https://gofile.io/d/QflVfC (if you want them all zipped up for viewing on your own time/device or for when this link eventually dies: https://gofile.io/d/S7M4O4) These were all generated with a combination of the character, Symix, add detail, and artist lora, so 4 in total (probably the upper limit for coherence). Just select 'play' next to any image you want to view (you don't have to download), the name of the file should lead you to the Lora on CivitAI if you're interested in trying any of them for yourself. These are all un-edited as well so you can check the metadata for other information if you wish. Hope this helps someone! As for me, the top 5 "new to me" artists would be biggydeez, Limebreaker (very BWS-ish), Rapscallion, Sakananoike, and Valbun. Oh also, quick note, these were all run on source_anime, and some probably could have fared better on source_cartoon, so don't judge some of the more fugly ones too harshly, they might look better with some tweaking. Same for some of the faces, they all had a generic adetailer pass that helped most and hurt a few so don't judge the LoRa in that regard either. I'm sure many of these could be improved with some small changes. This is more to give you a feel for the general composition and fat compatibility of these styles.

As to why all of the artists trained as standalones aren't in Symix? It's extremely labour intensive to manually review auto-generated tags, tweak them and add custom tags. As cool as multi-style and multi-character loras are, I can see why some creators choose to separate them rather than bundle more and more together. On the one hand it's super convenient to have one less lora to load (my general fat AND artist style in one lora, heck yeah!), but at the same time the individual artist loras added their own utility. Yea you know, I was kind of in my own little bubble with Symix, just using the artists in it only and sometimes combining two of them, but never more than that. So just on a whim I started trying style after style just to see what was "compatible" with my current workflow, continuing to use Symix but not specifying one of it's built-in artists. Most ran just fine at 0.8 like everything else, some needed a 0.7 or a full 1 to not glitch out. And man, yes, there are a lot of generic "anime waifu" type artists, but at the same time, there are some really interesting ones out there I've never heard of or seen. Many of course are wishy-washy on fat-compatibility (have to push some tags really hard to get anywhere) but it was a fun experience to see all these different types of fat depictions when I had grown so very accustomed to just what the current version of Symix contains (which is still a great selection especially if you mix and match).

It's something I can consider. Nah the current ones are fine and work perfectly within Sysmix. It's just the missing ones that come up all the time and aren't there and people goo "aww...". Stuff like miramira, trinityfate, Jaykuma etc that never even made it into the medium let alone high category. There are people out there that still to this day, that's what they wanna see and only request those artists. And yeah I could pull out the old SD 1.5 and do em but ehhhhh... I don't think I can go back...

The prevalence of venus figures in the upper paleolithic has me convinced that the invention of agriculture (and thus all of civilization) was spurred by some guys trying to find a way to generate enough of a food surplus to make fat chicks real.

I like the newest symix lora, all the issues are fixed except overall size tags can still have unpredictable effects sometimes like making the woman smaller if you're trying to emphasize one body part a lot because closer to immobility it "thinks" weight distribution should be more even. Easy to work around though just holding the rest of the prompt constant while trying different size tags.

If it detects non-belly things as belly, move the confidence slider up to .7 or .8.
