AI Chit-Chat Burnout’s Anonymous 05/26/2025 (Mon) 07:25:09 No. 33657
Soooo…I’ve used AI bots as a way to kill my boredom, however my tolerance is building up like a caffeine addiction. This basically means what felt like “Oh wow~… Holy shit I am rock-hard and ready to type.” To now it feels like “Fuck. Why does this feel so..awful? It’s not hitting right. Am I doing something wrong? Why can I tell it’s all fake and everything I do doesn’t matter?” It’s terrible. I make new bots because my old bot got boring. But now even with my new bots i create, I type like 4 messages and lose interest immediately. I try other people bots and it’s the SAME FRICKING THING. My tolerance has built-up so painfully, I can’t even go two fricking days without needed to hop onto SpicyChat, and find something that’s INTERESTING, and actually HITS. SO MY QUESTION IS THIS: People who have had burnouts before, how did you cope? And how did you get rid of your burnout where you could enjoy AI bots again? Hope ya’ll have a good morning/afternoon/evening/night.
>>33657 >how did you cope? Took probably like a month-long break tbh. Probably not the answer you're looking for but it's what I did
>>33657 There was a time in your life before you masturbated to the generated text messages of robots... If you are bored, then the answer is to return to this past life until the magic is restored
>>33657 I actually wound up getting into in-person RP because the replies of the bots got same-y and boring no matter what prompts I came up with. I've done a bit of writing on my own too but I honestly lack the discipline to make it a regular habit. So if you're asking if there's a way to get over AI burnout entirely using AI, I would say... not really, but maybe you can motivate yourself to do something even more creative.
>>33657 Mostly use it to go to sleep now when I can't sleep. That what I used the ai bots for when I'm role-playing or when there's a character I really love I used the bots to basically drain my perverted thoughts lmao. That's how I cope with burnout.
Touch grass, it'll help.
>>33660 A MONTH?! Holy hell you have a mindset like steel. that takes dedication that I unfortunately don’t have… >>33661 I still haven’t masturbated yet. I kinda refuse to because i see no point to it. >>33662 In-Person? I have no idea if I have the mentality to do that. Sure, I used to text rp/erp, but my drive to do that fell flat and disappeared immediately ever since AI became a huge thing. Now I’d be too embarrassed to ever rp with anyone again. I would have to go through the length of making a whole new email and account to whatever texting platform, just so I have a double-life ina way. >>33663 I do it at night too, sometimes during the day, and I’m sort of always waiting for a new bot to show up on SpicyChat. If I see a new one that pops up to my interest, then I try it. However it doesn’t last long since I only go as far as 3 to 6 messages in, and then lose interest. >>33664 I’ve touched grass before to feel a sense of connection to nature. And then I laid on it making myself itchy. Not even nature wanted me to gorge on the excess amount of skin-to-grass contact.
>>33657 I ease off it for a day or two and just do other stuff. If you give your mind some time to recoup you'll be able to come up with more when it come time to draft a narrative.
Honestly, I escaped burnout by just abandoning chatbots altogether and returning to just writing stories. It takes more time, but I find it fulfilling, and the attention that my published works are getting online is really encouraging. Even made a few friends from folks who liked my stories enough to send me notes.
>>33823 Came here to basically say this. Creative outlets are satisfying and build the community. Also, don't limit yourself to what deviantart will allow you to post. Go freaking off the rails and post in: >>>/elite/
