Games thread 10: Whatever edition Anonymous 03/08/2025 (Sat) 22:40:31 Id:09be56 No. 81646
Last thread has died, new thread has come. It's been a bit quiet on the games front for me. I guess I finally replayed and actually finished Gaining Persective after 5 years which, well, (pic very related) has left me feeling not as enthusiastic about fatty games right now. Either way, which games have you guys been replaying recently?
(165.75 KB 520x880 rVHPU_DDb5Y.jpg)
>>83096 The first picture has never been in the game though, this is how it looks no w
>>83140 Really? Haven't played the game in about a week or two so I got the images from kemono, but I know for a fact there are images don't look as good as the rest of the images
>>83129 so this isn't just a copy of pregmod's freecities from gitlab? or is the gitlab so poorly known you're considering it a bunker?
>>83094 aight
>>83146 what?
Any of You guys could please share the new apocalypse xl update of zenthicks
Yknow I never played/paid attention to the last update of fill me up, is the one on kemono 0.4.0b the one to play or is there another one?
>>83174 I don't like how janky it looks. I'm hoping the dev polishes the game out in the future
Could someone tell me about how good art is in free cities, when it comes to weight gain from pregmod? I once tried playing it, but it was a few years ago, now i'm willing to try it again if there are images of "slaves" you're raising and it's not a text based game. Also - is github best place to download pregmod? Or should i get link from somewhere else?
>>83180 It has multiple art choices once you go into the config. It ranges from Vector 2d (that gets updated regularly), generated 3D models, and even now has the option of an AI plugin that can read the descriptions from the game to generate images. So it's really up to what your taste is like really.
anyone have fattening career for windows?
>>83007 check their announcements tab on kemono
Something interesting I came across https://x.com/vivint_WG/status/1904737352410603557
>>83196 Vivint's games are interesting, was surprised to see them going ahead with making a spin-off of Obesity RPG. Always wanted to share my MTL of the first one but never really found a good place to host such given the loli/shota content and it being kinda weird and not good to begin with. Curse of the Jewel Dragon here is somewhat the same (using the same maps and systems) but does seem more solid than Obesity RPG.
>>83205 For those of us that are not familiar with browsing Japanese game sites, could you share a link to Vivint's other profiles, past games, and Obesity RPG? I don't mind if you don't want to share your machine translation if it is too obscene.
>>83205 Whatever you would like to share trust me that at least you have someone interested into it
>>83208 That Twitter is his only spot I've seen. They seem very closed-off compared to other fat game creators. And Obesity RPG and Curse of the Jewel Dragon are their only games so far. >>83213 https://mega.nz/file/XYcQHQ4C#Vaa5PMZCWraFpdXGGOtaA-yVHHjilJ3okls9ocd5K8U https://mega.nz/file/uA8BxKjD#SojTL5OKHaKcgwGz6fnqnCww1RXwXwvQtlP5VLjWQcM Here's both games MTL'd. Cleaned up a couple of menus but nothing compared to my work on Curse Appraisal Obesity Dungeon.
Honestly the only games im looking forward to getting an update is: Big Aspirations, Deight Class, Fattening Career, Fatgeria, Fataclysm and Project Realism
>>83217 You weren't kidding about Obeisity RPG, its...not very good as it doesn't seem you can easily level up the MC.
>>83224 Honestly it feels more like an attempt from the dev to make a game using Wave Function Collapses to make procedural dungeons and experiment with the base RPG Maker party making system rather than a genuine game. It's much more focused on its mechanics than any storytelling/cohesion/fetish content.
>>83227 I cant get into the rpg wg games cuz they all use the same engine and its just 10000 words per 1 image
>>83227 Seems to be, putting that one away for now. The other one at least seems a bit more interesting with the loop mechanic though its still a bit on the bare bones side.
>>83224 >>83227 Like I said, more interesting than good. It's why I never felt particularly obligated to share it or do any effort in translating. Best thing about it is getting a bunch of tall fat sprites of the default RPGM characters (thank you Translator++ for easy decrypting!). Leveling up takes a bit but not too difficult once you start gaining more cash and members. The dungeon is the "easiest" place to grind up some levels and working up Dite's hunger. >>83227 It becomes really apparent that's what it is once you finish Dite's arc and play with the other characters/storylines. Yes, it has multiple story arcs. Kind of reminds me of Nemtropy's games like Sledge's Big Dinner or My Dear Fallen Angel. If...radically more coherent.
>>83186 theres no new update, just get it off itch.io
>>83142 Nah, the "bunker" is one of those 4chan clones meant as a secret shelter. In this case, it's where the FC devs ran off to. The site's even got a system where you can't even access the site without a direct link to a specific board. They use Gitgud, not Gitlab, and it's updated daily.
>>83236 gitlab I think was rebranded as gitgud. When I type gitlab into my browser all my bookmarks come back showing gitgud. which means we're thinking of the same place... only thing is I wasn't aware there was a place to discuss it. I've always spammed the gitgud issues section for any tiny question or comment :-/ oof
could anyone upload the 1.3 of fatgeria for mac please? thank you in advance!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/weirdmidnight/super-sweet/posts/4342947 anyone have the new super sweet demo to share?
>>83182 Thanks, how do "install" images pack/mods for free cities? I downloaded Webgl art assets for pregmod, but gitgud does not explain anywhere how to install it
>>83247 fine, here it is https://gofile.io/d/xocHIy if anyone has the original SWEET it would be greatly apreciated.
>>83256 You got it! https://gofile.io/d/NdKaqE
>>83068 Nope, still looking.
is it wrong that I don't care for the stories in wg games? I do respect the work that the devs put into these games when it comes to making the story, but I feel like more often than not they overcomplicate it and just make it confusing to follow. Also almost everyone uses the same format by it either being a visual novel or a pixel rpg which I don't like. I want things to be shown more instead of me just reading text all the time. The type of games I like are the ones lechavite does where a scene is explained and then all you need to do is fatten up either yourself or someone else. I do love a good story in a game to get invested in, but I don't feel the same way when it comes to these type of games cuz all I'm trying to do at the end is just jack off and its hard to do that when you're reading a sad backstory about a character in the game.
>>83311 What you dislike isn't the fact there's story. What it is ticking you wrong is that these stories are often poorly paced, lack a proper plotline and developed characters with an actual character arc and progression, or any semblance of professionalism. Which is to be expected from a bunch of amateur games whose dev is often also the writer, and those often have a writing style best described as "whatever came to my mind".
>>83313 That's exactly the problem I have when I play these games. Good story games take years to develop with multiple writers working on it who are very experienced. Meanwhile most wg dev artists have only started making and writing games only for a month or two before releasing their games so they don't know the best way to explain smth in a short way and we end up with 10 pages of text for one interaction. Games like God Of War for example have a lot of story and character, but most of the story is shown with characters running or fighting instead of just standing somewhere and explaining everything for 5 min. This is what I think most wg games are missing the "show don't tell" aspect. I know wg games aren't on the same level as fucking GOW, but you don't need to spend millions to use that concept. All wg games just need to do is stop with overexplaining everything and just be like: "you are this character and you want to do this becuase" or "this girl likes you because of this" instead of "you are the 7th heir of a kingdom that has been in war with a different kingdom because of the holy war ect..."
Is kemono down or just me? I can't connect to their page.
>>83317 it's working just fine for me
>>83321 Thanks, I think my country is now blocking it for being a pirate site.
In Growing Rivalry, is there a way to remove the "marked for death" status? I'm unable to burst out the 1000 damage needed to beat any enemy before the instant death activates. Additional nitpicks with the game >In the midgame, you lose more height than you gain for wins unless you include height steal cards in your deck >Random ui bugs >Voidling is the only parasite that can be repeated discarded, making that archetype unusable >Playing voidling to clear out its extra copies breaks any "recover from discard" cards >Inconsistent descriptions for what whether a card's target is random or selectable >Inconsistent descriptions for "SpaceForce" vs "Dimensional" >Inconsistent descriptions for exile vs void vs remove >Your bleed card is 5 damage + 2% per turn. The enemy's bleed attack is 170 damage + 7% per turn
>>83316 While it is true most of these writers are bad at their job, it is important to remember that: >They are all trying to improve their craft, this is a skill. >(You) choose the games you play You can't really get upset at story in a game advertised as story-heavy. There's plenty of games where they give an excuse plot and let you wank off in 3 seconds, you don't need to worry your head about games trying to be longer and more fleshed-out. It's fair to critique games not getting to the point faster or could use a second draft, but there are reasons they build up to the fetish or verisimilitude for such.
>>83326 I just used https://www.saveeditonline.com/ to give myself a fuckload of height. I hate having to deal with shitty balancing in rpgmaker games, and there's never a single properly balanced game that doesn't waste your time.
>>83325 I also often have problems with kemono, try to use Tor browser usually it works for me
>>83326 Can you share the kemono password for Growing Rivalry?
>>83331 I get that there new when it comes to making stories, but I feel like this issue has been known now for the last year or two, but then they still keep doing the same mistake. And the games I choose have the most amount of text, but they also have the best images and scenes
>>83331 You in fact, can, be upset at a 'story-heavy' game if the story is bad. The same way you can be upset at a buffet if all the food served was bland. Quantity isn't quality, and a lot of those dev-amateur writers need to learn how to write a proper plot from Motive to Climax if they want to get somewhere. (Yes, even in a porn game, ESPECIALLY if they claim it's gonna be story driven or that the story is gonna be interesting) A lot of times they don't even bother writing down a character sheet describing their truth, lie, catalyst, turning states, personality traits or obstacles, which often leads to inconsistencies in how they act, what they say or why even they exist in the story. A lot of times it's also just loredump and distinction must be made; lore ISN'T story, it's filler that serves to set the universe in which the story takes place, so that things make sense, starting to explain it extensively and then never using it or addressing it is purposefully useless and achieves nothing but snoozing your reader. Again, yes, those devs aren't professional writers and don't know how to do half of these things, but that isn't an excuse to not read up or open a guide on how to properly write down a cohesive plot. Plenty of professional writers have explained the processes.
long shot, but i'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for the type of game i'm looking for. is there any sort of game out there that you play passively like once a day, like a tamagotchi or something. a virtual feedee that you can feed once or twice a day. you choose what to feed them but you can't go overboard or she won't finish it, or you break your budget. your budget every day gets bigger as she gains and her appetite increases incrementally as well. once a week you can do a weigh-in to see if/how much she's gained. apart from these mechanics some basic fetishy content, like fat-talk or pictures to represent her current body weight. i think it would be cool to see a game like this. like a mobile app you can check in on. when you go to eat lunch or dinner, you feed your virtual feedee as well. give people the feeder thrill without actually putting real people in harm's way.
>>83348 I kind of want to make a game just to show that actually you don't need 10 pages of dialogue for one interaction, but I'm not willing enough to start the whole process and management
>>83351 bro wanna have a fat waifu on his phone
>>83353 yeah man. isn't that why we're all here
>>83354 you basically want this but bbw edition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_oQYv9Oh0s
