In One Piece, Oda clearly gets way too excited about every new side story and character design and island; which makes an arc last a lot longer due to that; even when it's clear that he has a goal to the story, he can get easily distracted by the worldbuilding. If you like the side stuff as much as the main story, One Piece is great, otherwise it can feel like it drags way too much for pointless stuff.
At Log Myu at least as much that Pixiveo has a debatable page efficience made clearly that Myu strives for EXTREME obesity, and the Kumalympics might be the key for that, of which we can hope will be the final arc.
