Imagine if the comic had a few pages focused on how uncomfortable and out of breath she was, with her insides boiling up, her diaphragma squished up, her being so stiff she can't even bend herself to reach the control, and using some x-ray to show the corset itself struggling down to their threads and clasps to contain all of her, but Tessa still smiles and pretend everything is fine, even though she is slowly starting to lose her consciousness.... ....until Tessa sees the blackmail video. With each new gasp of confusion, despair, and rage, she fills her lungs more than she was supposed to, and then she quickly stands up revolted, and stretches herself back to maintain balance, of which is the final straw that makes her corset EXPLODE, surging her huge plumped up belly outward to the world.

I though when I saw the page that Tessa bumped into the microphone out of clumsiness of going too fast to finish that award thing as soon as possible, since she looked both big before and after the mike bump, and the audience immediately saw her as fat, like she didn't even tried (or managed) to hide her weight. What I would change to make it more clear to the reader (besides embiggening the camvas to give more space), is make the audience more split and doubtful, making rumors of doubt instead of humiliating jokes in the second panel, make her belly and sides smaller but more clearly compressed, to give a strikingly obvious fake hourglass figure in contrast to her fat everything else; and add some outlines in the dress of the corset before and after bursting, accompanied by a snap or rip sound effect to make it as clear as possible to the reader.

The only thing that will redeem Aika and give her a good ending is to amicably break up with Saiya, escape her toxic clutches. They can still be friends, possibly even fwb (friends with belly) but they'll both find it more freeing shedding the yoke of a committed relationship together. They tried and it ultimately didn't pan out, here's something better.
