I won't have a proper indisputable smoking gun without a confession from kallie, but I've dabbled with AI voicegen and I've noticed some artifacts in their files: * Tone doesn't have a lot of dynamic range, tends to always be very even, even if the speaker is whispering or being forceful * Pacing/speed is similarly typically quite consistent throughout a file * There are occasional odd transitions from one word to another, similarly there can be odd pauses * There can be long sentences/phrases where the speaker does not take a breath I don't have any files at hand to mark suspicious anomalies (I kinda wrote off kallie when I figured out what they were doing), but I could take some time and annotate a file for suspicious features. Also supposedly AI voices can have certain features that show up in an audio spectrogram but I'm not smart enough to do that sort of analysis.

If it takes a few hours or days but it's running while you go do something else and you only need to check on it by giving a listen when it finishes, the AI model saved you time even though it was slower. Plus reading is one of the few things AI isn't awful at getting right on the first try or few. Though the dishonesty sucks, I get why someone would use it for that.
