Beyond the anime, you have the manga characters like the Gorgons who either aren't trying to lose weight or are actively gaining. But the series was always more about learning to control your vices and dealing with them in a healthy way, rather than outright condemn being fat altogether.

I'm sick of trying to keep up with the release schedule of this anime. The bonus episodes 13 and 14 which were originally never going to be broadcast, are now being broadcast on the 17th of November. Episode 13 is already out because it released on streaming sites last week. Episode 14, is still listed on HiDive as being released this coming Saturday 12th of October. However, I think this another error from hidive, as there is no episode preview image on the official twitter like their usually is. Reminder that episode 14 was listed on the Blu-ray preview as "Calorie Lovers"

It's repetitive to have the naysayers go on and on about "It'll never happen!!!!", "Japanese creators won't want to do that!!!!" One did and they made an anime out of it, maybe it won't be dozens of BBW works, maybe here and there, but if it starts small and we gradually see more as time goes on.
