Like here is what I recommend for edits. https://www.getpaint.net/ https://www.systemax.jp/en/sai/ https://www.gimp.org/ Also, I don't recommend using AI for any serious edits since even in the best of cases it is going to randomly change stuff just a little bit when it was not asked to do so and often resize the image into a lower resolution. But AI can be useful to get a drawing reference for how you may want to draw/edit something if you are struggling to visualize how you would do something. Especially if the change is complex or has a massive change in anatomy. But I can't stress enough that I only recommend it as a reference conceptually. Do not even trace it if you are using it as a tool for reference.
