We have tried and failed to stop the CP spam with all our current tools, so more strict enforcement is being applied. This thread is for VPN users affected by the current ban on VPN posting which will (hopefully) put an end to the CP/spam problems that have plagued the site for a long time at this point. *Please read the entirety of this post before replying.* If you use a VPN and want to regain the ability to post, you may post in this thread (which is EXEMPT from the VPN block) with a brief explanation/justification and SET A PASSWORD IN THE PASSWORD FIELD (8 CHARACTERS MAX) when you make the post (click the 'More' link under the captcha). If approved, this password will be whitelisted and allow you to bypass the VPN block when used elsewhere on the site in the password field when posting. There are no specific requirements for password complexity, but obviously retarded passwords like "password" will be denied. Any misused passwords are subject to revocation. These requests are manually approved by me, LtBarclay, and only me. If you want to speed your approval along, make sure to link to a few posts you've made on other boards with your password request. Otherwise, your approval may take 24-96 hours.

I do not use the open internet without a VPN under any circumstances. When I post here, it is only in sharing threads, and it will very likely remain that way. I lurk 90% of the time but occasionally contribute to share content when I am able. I exclusively use VPN for online activities for privacy reasons. Could I please be whitelisted? Also, I just tried making a post on VPN, realized it was an issue and posted with it off before realizing this had gone into effect. Would you whitelist this password? I don't comment often but when I do it's a pain to flicker about to an unbanned VPN server. Get why you do it and get there's no other less restrictive option. You might or not remember me, but I am the guy that posted about tor users being able to comment. Your ban has gotten better and it is now quite trickier to post on tor. Going ahead and applying for the VPN block exemption, I hardly ever talked here previously but I'd still prefer to be able to if I end up wanting to at any point. If you can't allow it due to me using a "free" VPN and the associated IPs I understand completely, lack of any money means I had to find a creative solution and I get how this might be too risky to permit, not the first time it's caused me issues but I've got no better options at the moment.
