Finally got one. Waiting by the gate there was an absolutely gorgeous Latina gal - I’m bad at weight guessing but way over 300. Her body looked kind of like Chrissy Metz and was wearing a cute dress not unlike the ones she always wears. Probably early 30s, and seriously could be a big cuties model. Absolute stunner.
She was getting some work done, sitting in the seat sideways with kind of this nonchalance, as if it was more due to the way her laptop was plugged in.
This was a Southwest flight that wasn’t totally full so most middles were open. I get on the plane and by sheer luck, she sat in my row but on the other side against the window. Since it was mostly open I’ll never know if she had the second seat reserved formally, but I’m thinking so. She immediately flipped the armrest up, and once again sat in the seat sideways with her back kind of against the window, pecking at her phone. Only when the door was closed at the last moment did she straighten up. With one gingerly motion, yanked all the slack from the seatbelt and draped it across her huge belly. She immediately dove back into her phone.
The flight attendant didn’t miss a beat. Once the safety demo was done, she came over and handed her the extender. Both of them did it like it was the most normal thing in the world. It was great to watch.
The flight was only an hour but you better believe she accepted the snack and beverage and inhaled them.
