I've been dealing with something strange lately, and it's starting to mess with my head. For most of my life, I've never really had wet dreams—probably because I jerked off regularly enough to keep things under control. Out of boredom, I recently decided to try a lil NoFap. Since then, I've had three wet dreams, and every single one has been wildly different from my actual preferences in real life. They all involved skinny, high-fashion models: Gio Scotti, pre-lupus Selena Gomez, and Hailey Bieber. At first, I shrugged it off. But the more I think about it, the more unsettled I feel. Is my subconscious revealing my "true" attractions? Or is my brain just throwing random celebrity imagery at me because of media overload? Could this be some deeper message about my life, or is it totally meaningless? I don't know what to make of it anymore. Has anyone else on NoFap (or just in general) experienced wet dreams that feel completely out of sync with your waking preferences? What did it mean to you—or did you just ignore it?
