The complete Boberry had been uploaded several times over the last months. Every time, the link to it had been well hidden, so that perpetual lurkers had access while DMCA hounds were in the dark. But alas, there was always some idiot coming along who, against all warnings, blasted out the secret. Consequentially, the content got DMCA'ed in an instant. This has happened time and again. The necessary conversation about this idiocy has repeatedly been purged from the Boberry thread, but I feel that we have to have it, so here is a dedicated thread. What do you guys think? How should this grave issue be addressed?

I don't think there is a thing we can do about it. I am hoping that everything here is anonymous and that the identity of the idiot remains unknown. And while very annoying for most of us, posting a link that makes it easy to access - and discover - the content is not and should not be a punishable offense. I hate it and am angry with what some total idiots do on here, but idiocy remains a permissible action here and ought not to be punished other than by incurring the opprobrium of the community.

Someone needs to persuade our dear leader to allow other hoster. I know at least 3 that last longer, some even work with JD, but they are not allowed.

Re-upload the content. Open a text file and paste the link there. Create a zip file with the link. Upload this file with the link, not the pink file directly to the content. This way the content will not be deleted.
