Not true. Prior passwords continue to work, new ones requested on discord have been approved in the past week.

Fair. It is designed to be an onus: very few CP spammers are willing to login into discord, and contact me directly for a password. They were all too happy to request one in-thread here on the site, so that option was retired.

It's very close to about 10 minutes per user, yes. I do have to login to the server (meaning connecting to VPN/SSH), and edit a file, it is not hard no.

This, coupled with the fact it's clear the block is not...you know, actually blocking you from posting. You'd prefer to post with VPN, but it's clearly not required in your setup. If it's important enough to you to post about, it should be important enough to you to get on discord for 10 minutes and get a password. You could entirely delete your discord account afterwards if you wanted.
I realize discord is not the the ideal way to do this, but I'm not wasting my time literally giving CP spammers passwords in-thread anymore. You want one? Come get it. Simple as. My marriage died, my dog died, my brother died, my career ended, my life sucks. If I can still show up and deal with the site behind the scenes, you can pop in once on Discord to ask for a pass.
