For those that missed it last thread, there is a new model merge of my custom base bbw merge and Aurora up on my Huggingface. As someone who makes model merges for this community and /vtai/ hearing these same old talking points from fucking twitter of all places is really annoying. Model Merging and Model Training require so much black magic that they are essentially creating an art style for other people to use. I create art by the mere fact that my models produce good looking images when people prompt with them. I can almost recognize what model people use based on the art style. (Mainly because I am very familiar with all of my own merges). But as someone who has gone through and graded 1000 images for one of my model merges, people like you make me sick. You think that all you have to do is type words and then you get easy fats, but you have no clue the type of shit that it has taken to get this far. The amount of time other anons have put in to make the bbw models, and the amount of time I HAVE put in to try and further the quality of generated images in this scene. Look back not even 6 months ago, and the best you could do for fats was img2img with really weird looking images. See the first image, for an example. But now with the modern bbw models, and the merges that we have at our disposal, we literally can produce quality images. The thing that made this happen is human soul. Humans pouring their soul into making an AI that can produce good fats, and produce fats on a good background. All of this wouldn't have been possible with out bbw-step anon, LoRA anon, and others who have pushed us beyond NAI fats, and have helped to raise the standard of AI images. You want to discredit all that work because you think images can be generated in only a couple second? Go fuck yourself. Also, if you don't like AI why are you here in the AI BOARD?

Trying to git gud with SD, got some models, spent quite a few hours practicing, stealing prompts, making my own checkpoints, but can't seem to figure out how people are getting these really good pictures. Not the biggest fan of mine, can't find a model that really works for me, and inpainting is a pain sometimes. Still, getting more and more content with what I'm able to put out. It's really similar to photoshop out of the box so I didn't have to relearn much when my sub ran out. Try using the 'sd upscale' script in img2img on a denoise of 0.25-0.4, it upscales but also runs your image through many img2imgs so you get more detail and less artifacts

How does VAEs with these bbw model merges works? Once you load it do you guys use a specific VAE or there is already a default one in the model?

I'm playing with latent couple. Without controlnet, it misbehaves very easily, as flesh blobs merge into each other. With controlnet, it obeys pretty well. None of these have inpainting, although I think to get something truly A-tier, the faces would need inpainting. Due to this, most anons simply choose a vae whose color scheme they like, and force that to be used for all generations. I still use anything v4 vae personally, though I know some better ones exist at this point. It's been tough to keep track of everything. If someone can give me an updated list of preferred vaes I'll add them to the guide.

I feel like the inpaint is so tough I watch tutorials like a dummy but it's hard to significantly change the image I'm not sure if I'm prompting it wrong or something. Placement of the prompts is also important since it will start with the first positive prompt when drawing, and will proceed to the next prompts as it continues drawing. Negative prompts: double navel, bad belly, bad navel, double belly Inpaint would still be best. Sometimes it's better to export to GIMP/Krita and draw over the navel or rolls with the colors you want. Doesn't have to be perfect (or even good), just create noise on the parts you don't like and try and push the AI in the right direction when regenerating parts you don't like.

So to all of the anons having issues with going bigger, I have good news. You were correct, it was harder to go bigger using the standard prompt style that everyone was used to. The really good news is that the model consistently responds to bbw. Adding bbw to any prompt makes it go much, much bigger than without it, and causes gens to be similar in size to GAME. (first grid is with bbw token, second grid is without it. Notice how in most of the images, they are bigger on the left grid than the right one.)

Anyone have any tips on how to 'fix' a failed generation? The last image here is one I really liked how it was going, but I got the NaNsException error and it failed entirely and didn't save to my outputs folder. Took a screenshot of it before it did that because I was worried it would happen. Tried taking that screenshot, throwing it into img2img with all the same settings as the original generation since no png info was saved, but it came out really blurry.

Even if it didn't save a pic for you to get the seed from, the setting restore would still remember your seed. barring that, your best bet is to put the image into controlnet, probably on the depth controlnet or canny controlnet.
