I think we should have room for constructive critism of Salt's work. But clearly the critique is not really shared among his patreons, so I guess it's a fools errand to argue about it here. Problem with armor suits nowadays is that they all just look like biker gear instead of actual armor with metal plates. Iron mans nanotech suit is probably the biggest reason for that since when it got revealed everyone thought it was cool and unique with how a suit is created out of thin air, but now everyone suddenly has a nanotech suit as if they can just buy it in walmart

It took away all the bulk, power, and character of the old suits and just became a floaty CGI deus ex machina that does whatever the scene needs it to. There are no limitations to work around.
