It's like this is no longer porn, it's just a slightly risque comic trying to be a cartoon. (Maybe that's the intent - to cut out the 'naughty' parts so it can be sold innocently?) The original 'Pick, Don't Eat' was much sexier than anything the follow-up comics have had, except for maybe the shower scenes and Casey near the end of 'What-a-Melon'. I remember really loving 'Second Shift' back in the day, particularly the first and second panels. I haven't felt the same about his work in quite a long time now. At least since the original 'Pick, Don't Eat'.

Considering Opik is also into alien pregnancy and gore this might just be him extra playing it safe. To me the appeal of the comic is the fetish scenarios being established and building on themselves, like the slow reveal that the berry condition is also effecting Whitt means there's absolutely going to be a comeuppance scene where she gets huge, same with a lot of the employees getting fatter and the girls being force fed and then producing the candy like livestock. That stuff is appealing to me, but rarely does it have a serious hardcore pornographic tint to it. I will say, now that we're away from the stupid farm and the melon girl, I'm hooked, I wanna see what happens. I'm okay with reading a regular comic of this quality that also has niche fetish content some of the time.

I didn't catch any typos or grammatical buffoonery, but it was just not an interesting story at all. The story aged up factoryslop didn't do it any favors, the interactions between the guide & characters were uninteresting, and it was oddly un-erotic. There wasn't much climax or interesting description of them becoming dummy thicc, plus the safely popping left me disappointed. So iron out the character dialogue, realize you're writing erotica to induce erections on top of the story, & don't be so rough on yourself. Why are artists who don't normally do infl the best?

>>162539 Most inflation artists are super-autistic, which is why they tend to hyperfocus on their comfort zone instead of actually pushing visual boundaries like a non-inflation NSFW artist. Somebody who doesn't usually do inflation art yet is skilled enough to explore it would actually try harder to do a good job framing the scene and portraying the pressure and tautness of the subject's body expanding. On the other hand, too many inflation artists are just content to spam the circle tool, or just trace off that one scene which flipped on the monk-ee senses switch in their brain.
