"Honestly, it was all so simple. He couldn't believe he had never thought of this before.
Kamek's feet sunk softly onto the rubbery surface he was walking on. The magikoopa usually opted to fly rather than expend the extra effort to move about in this manner, but today was a special occasion. For you see, he did not walk along some simple road or even the floor of his master's castle.
No, the bouncy pink "ground" beneath him was in fact the enormously engorged ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. Princess Peach was as nearly as round as a ball and nearly the size of her own airship, helplessly whimpering as the tiny magician approached her swollen face.
The formerly svelte princess was not the only overblown blimp in the sky. The horizon was dotted with bulbous subjects of the mushroom kingdom, each one letting out muffled cries as they bobbed about like soap bubbles around a bathtub. If you squinted, you might even catch the absurdly stretched overalls of the Mario Brothers in the distance.
Using his magic to combine the bizarre Blorbs malady with the properties of a P-Balloon was a stroke of genius if he did say so himself. It was a simple matter of infecting some of the more vulnerable folk of the Mushroom Kingdom and watching it spread. They puffed up into the air like popcorn flying out of a frying pan. It was a delightful sight! And once their champions had fallen to his curse he simply had to move in and administer it to the princess himself.
But you see, he still wasn't done. Such a momentous occasion really should end with a bang, after all. Smiling, he removed the coupe de grace from his robes: the floatacious blimp fruit!
