OFA is a good game, although I prefer replaying the psp ones even if they are limited, there's charm to working with just one idol around.... in the case of the twins, they start of with some of the worst stats in the game but, you can basically commit crimes against them because instead of them actually getting tired, they compensate by tag teaming around, if one is tired, the other one takes the spot, at least, that's the excuse used for the game, so you can min-max their stats around pretty easily if you are skilled at the mini-games, the same applies in the arcade version of the game but progress is saved in your ID card, im@s 2 develops Mami more as a standalone character and gives her the characteristic longer ponytail you saw in the anime, but, that game compared to OFA is worse, shorter and features Jupiter which people didn't like in their due time of release being a big deal back then, poor Ritsuko's va... anyways, a simple yet effective way to describe them would be: Both are brats, both of them are very attached from beginning to end to the producer, with Mami being more keen on the idea of being sexy as fuck, and Ami just having fun, you separate them in older media by the position of their hair, Ami used to be the oldest of the two but now this has been reversed probably since Mami is the sexy lovey dovey one now, no complaints. rarely mentioned but Ami does scribbles on the walls and Mami takes care of bonnosuke, a bonsai. Unrelated to them but, since Koume is mentioned, just think of her as a cutesy girl on the cool genre of idols, closest idol in her being contrasts of what they appear to look at would be Makoto, the tomboysh but cutesy gal of 765p, Koume being in this case mostly related to spooky stuff with her autograph featuring Jason borges mask, and scaring other idols for fun while liking zombies because she sees their struggle and noises as "cute", shut in, that ended up gaining friends and a more refined personality with each passing year and event. my b once again, old twins pic I like and another reposted Koume to accompany it.

You have to actually engage with the medium to grasp who these idols are. You can't shortcut that through wiki blurbs. The quality of the wiki also varies per idol. Some introductions are basically hit pieces because whoever wrote them didn't like the character, or was tired of westerners pushing her while being completely clueless about her actual characterization. Speaking with this much confidence about a character you clearly only know through secondhand summaries is disingenuous. Also, English isn't my first language so I'm doing my best here.
