The art can genuinely look good and the programming aspect of ai ain't bad either. I still haven't found anyone of the mythical people who allegedly know how to use it. The art still looks lifeless and stilted, calling it good is like trying to sell people on the quality of prison food, specifically Nutraloaf. The programming is frequently filled with such laughable mistakes that I'm sure if you tried to make a game with it, it would probably manage to make such a critical memory leak that it would nuke someone's PC.

I dont think ai is inherently bad, it has lazy applications that just make slop but it can have good uses as well. But overall your right there have been plenty of small games that were good and didn't need help from ai.
