Really happy people are actually enjoying it. Just FYI I made an adjustment to let the story breath a bit and not have WG narrative's in every paragraph.
Breakdown below:
What it is — 2 new prompt blocks:
getBreathingRoomInstructionForPrompt() — injected early in storyWritingPrompt.instruction, right after [getSceneContinuityInstructionForPrompt()]
getBreathingRoomFinalReminderForPrompt() — injected near the very end, right before minor-safety/continuity, so it gets the last word
What it tells the AI:
Weight gain is a slow background arc across the whole story, not a quota per part.
Most scenes should be about other things — work, humour, routines, errands, family, plans, world/people. Food is usually just background mention, rarely a staged set-piece.
Do NOT mention weight/bodies/appetite/portions/fullness/clothes-straining/weigh-ins/mirrors/feeding/stuffing/seconds in every paragraph/exchange/scene. Entire scenes — sometimes whole parts — with ZERO gain content is good writing.
At most ONE explicit gain beat per part by default — one remark, one noticing, one food moment — unless the OVERVIEW, arc milestone, or <writing_instructions> explicitly demands more.
Never stack them: no gain remark in dialogue plus lingering body description plus food scene plus clothing check in the same part.
When gain appears, keep it brief and in passing, then move on. Don't steer a conversation about other things back to bodies/food.
Never force it to fill space. Restraint = confidence, repetition = nagging.
Why it's worded that way:
It starts with this OVERRIDES every instruction below... including the narrative style's standing body/food devices, the gain-reaction rules, the body & food settings, and the character-fetish rules. That's deliberate — those other systems were pushing gain content into every scene, so this explicitly outranks them.
It duplicates/reinforces the existing PROGRESS SLOWLY block (<progression_pacing>), but stronger and more specific about what not to do.
In short: before, the prompt pushed gain into every part. Now it caps it at one brief beat and explicitly permits zero-gain parts.
