Girls from that era literally were more approachable. You could just message them, say hello, tell them you liked what they were doing and wish them the best etc. Now it's "Messages with no tip will be BLOCKED, cis men are nazis" The internet is flooded with 2 million girls with egos more inflated than their bodies, that all act identical to each other and all start and end every sentence with "I meeean, not gonna lie" and think being "bratty" is a personality. They have a default hostility and entitlement, rant about people "stealing" content while they use licensed music in theirs, and complain that 'everyone wants something for free' while also begging for free food and tips every day like panhandlers lol. Sure there were a few toxic scammer types back in the day too, but a much higher majority of the older ones flat out seemed like much nicer people.
