I made a sketch of my gardevior OC about an idea that I had. While gardevior have a natural skin dress that grows from their body (which I imagine could be trimmed or styled as if it were hair) that gives them the appearance of wearing clothing, natural gardevior are still technically naked. While a gardevior's natural skin dress can certainly make it appear to be modestly clothed, all it takes is a simple adjustment to completely break that illusion. What do you all think about that concept?

>>112109 Sorry I wasn't really specific about what you were asking about anon, but I do also really do love the idea of Gardeviors being able to style themselves like hair sounds like an absolutely incredible idea, and honestly I would very much vibe with the idea of just being able to cut and snip and trim whatever piece they would want to have it all look like! Imagine cutting out stylings for holidays or even just help giving an extra POP to the edges of themselves! I had a general outline for the character's backstory when I first conceptualized it. I recently decided to write out this backstory. To me (and many others), writing is far easier and less fatiguing than illustrating. For anyone else who wants to read more about my O.C. named Marianne, I'll share what I had written about her. What I wrote is kind of long, so I'll attach it here as a .txt file. I intended for Marianne's trainer (who is a man) to act as a self-insert for the reader. I also left some of the details of ambiguous to make the story more flexible. As for making more content of this character specifically, I'm not really interested. I doubt I'll ever want to come back to this. For anyone who wants more, I ask that you consider the following. There have been several thousands of different O.C. characters of Gardevoir, Lopunny, and several other popular pokemon. Some characters simple artistic deviations from the official pokemon designs such as additional stylistic features, different colors, and unique bodily proportions. For Gardevoir specifically, in both this thread and in galleries on other websites, there are several different Gardevoir characters that have it's green (and presumably hairlike) membrane on its head styled in different ways, and have the features of the (usually) green and white dress-like membrane attached to its body depicted in many different ways. Many other people have also played with the idea of psychic type pokemon like Gardevoir being able to easily read the thoughts and emotions of a person on a whim. The idea of a Gardevoir character deliberately styling their own skin dress is just a concept that I thought about myself. This is all to say that the creative power is all in the artist's imagination and creative abilities. Every O.C. is (presumably) precisely detailed by an artist to someone's (usually their own) specific tastes and preferences. I wouldn't suggest getting too attached to my character. There are plenty of different one's out there that were made by people with more artistic talent than me. Additionally, while it may not be easy or turn out as expected, one could make their own art, whether it be illustration or written text, EXACTLY how they want to. If one want's to obtain something, sometimes the best approach to doing so is to create it oneself.
