Games thread 25: doughy summer edition Anonymous 07/01/2026 (Wed) 14:31:43 Id:f545db No. 113664
Last thread got bumplocked: https://bbw-chan.link/bbwalt/res/111162.html Lots of new releases/updates since last post began with a bunch of them also coming to steam and also frankie's kickstarter got overfunded. We're eating good, we're so back
>>114189 fml I didnt notice the quote had a line break
>>114150 The cash is scattered around, just check the desks, and anything that looks like a box. >>114140 I agree, the mechanics are clunky as fuck, and I fucking hate going through the damage zone areas, because it's set to go faster than your character can react to. Seriously, why does gas shoot like a hadoken?
>>114140 There is a reason why every point n' click adventure game stopped with text interpreters and menu-based navigation for automatically check things ASAP. I get it is just importing the systems from the Twine version, but it is really insane to thing to make. It just W A Y too slow. UX absurdity man.
>>114140 So the highlight on the options got me at first too. The issue is you're not supposed to be looking at the slight white highlight that only appears on selectable options, you're supposed to look at the girls hair strand pointing at the selected option. They really should have made it more obvious. The fact that it's on a two frame animation actually disguises the fact that it's actually pointing and not just wiggling.
>>114189 There's a lot of other animations that feel like impact the games performance like opening the journal or inventory for example. >>114194 The damage zone also sucks because everything that hurts you is the same color like it's hard to see sometimes the green goo flying towards you when its going past green smoke. Just changing the shades of green would solve it imo. >>114196 I didnt know it was the hair strand until now. They should have instead just a yellow border around what's being chosen instead.
>>114197 The hair could be fixed; if it didn't animate and just pointed, or had a visibly different transition animation between selections, like a hair flick or smooth movement the change/difference would draw attention to it. The issue is it snapping between two idle frames and then also snapping between angles; it desensitises you to that sort of movement and then uses that sort of movement for an important effect. It also doesn't fucking help that the game always starts you on the middle option even when it's not enabled, doesn't skip through inactive options, and basically only exists so you can stare at people like a weirdo before talking for no reason or not pick up things on the first interact for no reason. Other places have confirmation boxes for actions, they could just ditch the menu and use that.
I legit cannot gather all the money to buy all the food for the true ending, can anyone post that panel?
>>114206 Sorry, but I dont understand the 2nd and 3rd point
>>114096 Does the new Big Aspirations update finally have the gallery?
>>114224 No. The "update" is not really worth playing. There are only like 10 new images and what's dumb is that you can only see some depending on choices you made before so you have to backtrack 3x just to see all the mew images.
Since the thread with Into the Depths 1.4 is gone and people have asked about it, I'm reuping it. Any other Into the Depths enjoyers, please tell me your favorite deck archetypes. This game doesn't get talked about enough here! https://fast-file.com/667c6323
what are some games with good blobs?
>>114262 I lot a fair bit of interest after they changed art styles but in doing so seemingly made the weight gain aspect of the game far more minor. Like before she really did seem to pile on the weight now even at higher stages her belly is only just starting to hang over pants etc. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong now and they've changed it to have more weight gain focus not just the vore but I doubt they have unfortunately.
>>114262 Chunky Cheerleaders has released for free BTW https://forum.weightgaming.com/t/chunky-cheerleader-finished-daz-asset-choice-driven-visual-novel/27284
>>114276 goddamit can't be downloaded, too many people..
>>114305 nvm this works. TIL: The google shortcut thing works actually, just downloaded it. Go to file, add it as a shortcut to your drive, then put it inside a new folder, then download that new folder and it will work.
>>114305 alternatively, you can make a folder and add the file as a shortcut to "My Drive", then download that folder instead and it will work
>>114003 How do I download it?
>>114306 Bless you for your insight
>>114116 eat the food from vending machine
>>114276 Respect to the dev for releasing it for free after they planned to make it be payed originally. You rarely see a dev who isn't money driven.
chunky cheerleaders: Anyone made a walkthrough guide yet? 17 endings is a heck of a lot more than last time there was a release!

>>114318 quick and dirty flowchart made with renpy-graphviz (spoilered bc spoilers)
For those who are looking for the final upgrade in Wasteline its inside a locked closet room in the office area and the key is located inside a desk right before you enter the production area. to get the good ending you just need to eat all the food in the vending machine with a total amount of 120$ and then encounter the scientist.
>>114314 I seem to recall they did it in part because the tax man was causing trouble because they considered it an additional source of income and basically would have fucked over the money he made from his actual job.
Funding has only been going down, and well below the 2.4K they established as necessary. I would be mildly surprised if anyone had the appetite to boost the funding again if they tried for another emergency donation drive, and I get the impression that Grot is either looking to step down or very close to it. That is to say, without any changes, I suspect the end of the site is going to happen within the next year from now, if not sooner. The place has clearly run its course. Maybe not from a traffic perspective, but definitely with regards to usefulness. Most discussion for game projects is done in private discords these days, so a dedicated forum seems almost anachronistic at this point. Add to that that more and more game developers aren't posting to WGing but opting for other platforms, the place is not super useful anymore save for some key legacy projects or developers. I don't have any hope in the Wiki at doing anything other than serving as a niche data source, and the main site is probably never going to happen. Even if it did, it doesn't make sense to go at it like a storefront that no developer is going to have faith in given Grot's less than stellar track record of managing communities. As far as I see it, what is needed is site that is just an easily searchable directory of user-tagged games and user-supplied links out to places for discussion if they exist. Let the communities exist where they currently are since trying to bring together all of them under one roof...well, you end up with WGing for all the good and (mostly) bad that entails. This would be fairly manageable and there are plenty of existing tools out there to produce something like this semi-quickly. Infrastructure for load balancing and such is harder but still pretty straight forward. Biggest hurdle would be how does it pay for itself? Grot's monthly costs are inflated because of the "main site" but even a portion of the current traffic on WGing would be very costly, especially in current economic conditions. I'd be half tempted to give it a go if I had a semi-decent idea of how to keep it afloat without paying for it myself. Partially because I'd like it to exist, but also to serve as the final nail in the coffin for WGing as a primary source for this stuff.
>>114326 I dont think anyone uses weight gaming anymore I just get my news on game updates from here tbh
>>114319 Thx for the graph, because every time i play Chunky Cheerleaders seems changed absolutely nothing.
Finished Wasteline Refilled and I was honestly kind of disappointed. While I appreciate them using actual art for the game, the artstyle just felt too chibi and cute instead of hot for me to enjoy it half the time. I also expected the game to have more content than the original which it did, but not by much and for the events the game had I was hoping for them to have more parts in the sequences whereas instead some events only had one or two images like the conveyor belt or the good ending scenes. When it comes to the gameplay it was fine, but mechanics were way more overcomplicated than they should be and some sections were much harder than they should be. The ui when interacting with something was also really clunkly to the point I thought I picked something up, but then I come back later and I see that I didn't. Overall I would give it a 7/10
>>114308 what i did, at least with wasteline refilled, is to ask chat gpt to download the link, there chat gpt encrypts it into the actual link for the download, try it
>>114259 holy hell, I was sleeping on this one. Didn't expect it to have the mechanical depth that it does have. Still rough around the edges, but the weight gain is good and the game is fun. More than can be said for a lot of projects
>>114326 > the 2.4K they established as necessary. the fuck? i remember that being around $900 a few years back, did they post a budget breakdown? but yea my general impression is that the gamedev space has grown very decentralized, and weightgaming has failed to keep up. not much to do besides let it burn and see where people head next.
>>114319 I can't properly read this chart, i'm especially interested about 11th ending - fatten everyone, could anyone explain it to me?
>>114340 TBH the main disappointment I have, so far, with Wasteline is there seems to be no way to actually fatten all the other characters Though it might just be that's locked behind the true ending or what have you, in which case, shame but I guess not as bad?
>>114361 yeah... you need to get the other cheerleader team to join yours. You get it thru the path with Rachel.
>>114371 The true ending only turns the villian fat which while it's hot it only gives her 2 images which is kind off anticlimactic since I was expecting a whole 10 part sequence of her outgrowing the room. I do hope that if there's a future update they make it so that the endings are based on if you made everyone else fat or just yourself. If you for example were to make everyone fat you would feel more gluttonous and in the end when you find the culprit you would just give up and just beg for more food while if you chose to only fatten yourself then the final scene would show you outgrowing the whole room. Something like that I feel would make the game a lot more interesting.
>>114357 Hell yeah! Been playing a lot of it, not even just for my love of wg games, but the mechanical depth. My favorite cards are the blessing of agility and protection and paring those with the card that instantly makes you full. Both those cards scale so much with strength and defense it's crazy! I also enjoy pairing the card vore with the one that makes you unable to gain fullness for the turn! That's an overpowered boss killing strat I came up with!
>>114319 That graph doesn't seem that useful because it mixes all 3 girls together. The paths seem to have a lot of variety in the earlier weeks (can bounce between feedee/feeder/mutual) with multiple alternate scenes, but once the vacation is reached you are locked into your ending branch with very few choices. I got mutual Alissa on the first playthrough, and after the vacation there was only one alternate scene before the final ending choice.
>>114319 Did anyone get endings 13 or 14? not even sure what girl it is for.
>>114401 It's probably Rachel. I did all the Ash and Alissa branches and did not see 13 or 14. Maybe it is an early ending like the 3 toned Alissa ones.
>>114401 >>114410 13, 14, and an unlisted bad end are the thinner rachel route, which can be reached from either of Rachel's chapter 3s.
>>114416 Any clue on ending 15? I suspect it's an Ashleigh route but really can't seem to figure out what actions I need to take?
>>114418 15/16/17 are the toned Alissa endings. They all happen in chapter 3 and there is no ch4/5 once you reach it. Don't help Alissa at the bar in ch1, then swap with her in the ice cream truck in ch2.

I made my own chart for chunky cheerleader. I think this covers most of the branches, or at least a single route to each chapter. The novel/chapters are short enough that I don't need to include exact choices, just that the route exists.
>>114377 pretty sure the True end is not in the game yet and the ability to fatten others has not really been added yet as it is not finished yet.
>>114422 Ok then im looking forward to it.
fatgeria got a new update for free
>>114440 No if you have the files and want to upload them based on a post there missing files. Yes if you want to use the importer. >>114436 Pretty sure I read the free version is limited with some of the larger weight levels missing / locked for the characters,
>>114458 So in short we still need the paid version for the bigger sizes
Lol I think Chunky Cheerleader added every other dev an extra month to work on their updates based on how much content it has
