Probably appealing to those same handful of people who go to EVERY SINGLE GAME and post "CAN I PLAY AS A FAT GIRL AND GET FAT" whenever there's even a remote chance that the MC is male even though you never see them. The state of the MC can (thankfully) be completely ignored, though it would've been more appealing to me personally to play as a faceless male without even an image and just date/fatten the girls (and the skeleton of that is very noticeably in the game just from interacting with the other girls), probably could've added more intimacy or fucking if that were the case. Definitely a case of trying to please too many different people with different wants.

In my mind the rule with ai art should be: use it when starting off with your game and try to at least put some effort into it by making it consistent and then later when you earn some money from the game then start reducing ai art and slowly swap it out with real art.

>>116864 What's also worth mentioning is that it's also really hard to transition from ai art to normal art if you have over 100 ai images in your game since it would take years and thousands of dollars to redraw every ai image by hand. That's why I can never imagine games like Fataclysm, Deight Class or Big Aspirations transitioning to normal art just based on the amount of images they have alone. In those cases all you can really do is try to make the ai art look as clean and consistent as possible.

What we have right now is three disjointed companions that have no reason to stay with each other; Kat's abdication to voring would have earned her a spot in Rose's zealous ass, and Rose's disgusting voracity would have ended with either cat claws or being Kat's prey herself. They're too abrasive and have far too different philosophy to ever want to have an adventure together. And they don't have an uniting goal either. Then Hazel is one bipolar bitch. The game has her personality in a metronome; one moment she's an innocent girl who can do no wrong and just lost her father, the next a badass no-nonsense malignant apex predator eager to taste flesh again. It's not like you can't write a character who have both, you can, but the execution is so ass that on one pacifist run, trying to kick Rose's ass after she yells heresy like a 40k priest to Skylar will made Hazel say like she's been voring and killing her whole life (this Hazel kill count damn near zero). It's like schrodinger's personality. Hazel is perpetually in a state of not having anything until interacting in such a way, regardless of past experiences. In way of giving the player freedom the dev now is sunken under exponential work.

A game where a hot wolf girl with bodonghonkaroos claims you and creates pups every night and you're supposed to build up your base to support them all. The models and art style are appealing, and simple enough that anybody with rough unity/blender skills could probably whip something up with... Whatever they want to happen. There is drama around it somewhat but of course there is, I'll leave that judgement up to whoever cares.
