Yeah I agree group mentality and societal pressure is why the thin curvy build is so prominent in fiction and is what we call "sexy". It's all over the place and other creators recycle it and sell it to others as "sexy". This is the manga that I referred to by Ooi Masakazu, the name is Ashitaba-san chi no muko kurashi. A pair of newlyweds getting into sexy misadventures and joined by the wife's family. I think the mangaka is into super busty, curvy women as the leads of various works are crazy busty. For masakaku's fantasy manga not having BBW character yet, wonder if it's because the artist doesn't know how to draw BBWs yet. In my experience artists not into BBWs wouldn't have the skill or drive to draw them. So asking them to draw bbw characters could take time, maybe is Masakazu had them practice over time then work to have a BBW character or characters in their work. There's also the fact that Masakazu may not have them draw BBW characters at all. Just if we may see BBW characters, but it will take a while or skipped over for this project specifically.
