>>20802 Probably the latter one. There are stories I've read with similar plot. Only issue with sympathy weight stories is it can only really be relatively short from what I can see. I think I like it partially because it's a real display of gluttony to match your pregnant wifes growth and because there's just something about the image of a beer gut pressed against a baby bump that appeals vsiually.

I've got my second child now, he's a few months old. My wife has never been small, BMI has always probably been about 35 or higher. I was so fucking jealous of how out of breath and huge my wife was in the last couple months of her pregnancy. I wished that was me so badly. About 6 years ago, I gained a bunch of weight on purpose that my wife did NOT like. She called me disgusting, in a not fun way. Now, the writing is on the wall that we won't be together much longer, and more than likely I am lucky enough to be the primary parent. ANYWAY I've been absolutely gaining weight now, and pigging out. She's also gaining weight as she nurses, and has a broken foot that limits her mobility. I love the idea that we're just a fattening up household.
