I met my girlfriend several years ago. After a week of dating, I told her about my preferences. She was shocked and wanted me to explain. Then she said that she would never willingly participate and would not gain weight for me, as she would be uncomfortable in her body. I told her that I totally understand; I don't want to force it on her, and she doesn't need to gain. The rest of the day was awkward, but the following weeks were fine. We understood each other in many other things, and I felt good with her, so I decided to put my preference aside for the relationship. And we nver really talked about it from then on.
As years went by, she gained roughly 20-ish kilos. She started to be even more irresistible as it went to her butt and thighs, and she got a starter belly, which I couldn't get enough of at the start. But all that was due to stress, life stuff, and family genetics, I would say.
She is really sad about the whole thing and dislikes her appearance. She denies buying clothes for herself, as she will buy more when she loses weight. But eventually, she just buys new, bigger clothes.
I got to see her not fit into old clothes, people commenting on her weight, and her stuffing herself. All amazing things on paper, but when she despises those things, it is hard for me to enjoy or get excited, not complaining just saying.
I got to see her weight change, and while I found her increasingly attractive, she was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with her appearance. I never intended for her to gain weight, and I never encouraged it. I didn't want to force my preferences on her, and I was happy to put my kink aside for the relationship.
She complains about her weight, as is the stereotype, and I comfort her, yet she fires back, "What would you know? You must like this, finally your type, right?" and so on. I always assure her that I never intended for her to gain; I am not doing it in secret or on purpose in any way shape or form.
In the meantime, I assured her that I like her as is and would like to help her get the body she wants. So I was asking her to join me for exercise, run, or to have something healthy. She then declines, has an excuse ready, or suggests something fatty instead. She also bakes a lot and eats it before I can even get to it.
Our sex life is and was always kinda slow, mostly because she didn't feel ready and is socially awkward about it due to her upbringing. So we started having sex a bit later in our relationship.
But I find myself not being attracted to her body even when at her fattest, which wasn't much, just 88 kilos.
I don't mind, I don't blame her, and I don't get in her face about any of her gluttonous habits. Yet it hurts me every time she feels uncomfortable in her body or hates her weight; she either tells me that it is my fault that I fattened her up, that I am liking her fat body, or that I am sabotaging her, etc.
I tell her that I can help, that I am here for her and will help her to lose the weight she doesn't want to have. She replies that I would surely sabotage her or that she doesn't want to exercise or anything like that. I am confused about one thing, and ironically it comes to me as funny. I confess my fat fetish, she dosnt want to participate so I cross it of as a no go and go on, she then gains weight herself, which I am blamed for, but in the end even at her biggest I dont enjoy it on her, other girls that I notice some gain I find it attractive, this whole online thing like forums/images/fanart etc excites me as well but in real life I dont find her attractive yet I am the one at fault according to her. Does it make sense that her not liking to gain would discourage me from liking it on her?
I am already considering therapy, as I don't want to ruin the relationship and her life.
