For me, one of the big appeals for berryfag shit is the aspect of semi-permanence after the inflation’s said and done. Nude or clothed inflation? Normally prefer naked girls, but inflation is one of those odd exceptions for me. I personally feel like clothes are a vital part of inflation art, as they make up 90% of a characters recognizable design. (With the other 10% being their face) You take away the clothes and since inflation naturally destroys a characters normal silhouette, there isn't much to go off on for identifying them other then their face. (And any unique additional features like tails, wings or limbs) If you take two characters with the same skin color and inflate them in the nude, it can be difficult to identify each one, especially if their face is sunken in and hard to see. That and on a general level, clothes are an excellent tool for portraying how full and tight someone is, based on how their usual outfit is now stretched thin and pressing into their body. Bare tits and genitals are great too, but you can still achieve this in clothed inflation art by just having wardrobe failures in the relevant spots on their body.
