The difference is he demonstrates a range of plots compared to most other writers and artists who just churn out the same garbage but with a different girl. Read one fat story and you’ve read them all. Also, he did say that he works with the artists based on what the artists want to make so you’d also have to point the finger at the artists’ tastes too. Just because they make the same fat content when other people commission them doesn’t mean that they necessarily like it.

Second of all, trying to use morbid storytelling to say someone is bad at storytelling is extremely retarded. You can't state a valid reason his stories are bad so you are resorting to "morbid is bad cuz I said so." If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. >>315074 Idk if I'd say they're "the best" but YummySinpie is def very underrated, I feel like I hardly hear about the big royal rivalry despite it being a genuinely great comic. The main problem with it is that in the beginning the art style is not good but the quality improves a ton as the comic goes on. The comic def does a great job making the weight gain aspect front and center to the plot while still making it (mostly) make sense. Pretty sure it's up to date on ehentai and pawchive There's some other great comic artists out there that I don’t see being mentioned much either: pooooocha (or whatever the fuck his name is) on pixiv is still drawing chubby girlfriend which is honestly amazing (tbf though he rarely goes to ssbbw and honestly the newer chapters w the kid are a little weird...). His paid comic on pixivfanbox with the tutor is awesome too (search up "tutor and chubby student" on nhentai and you'll find the first 200ish pages in English for free) Rin-noheki with "my boyfriend is a chubby chaser" (I think that's what it's called) is phenomenal but it's still in the early stages and release is slow. The art quality is some of the best though imo! Pacing is really good too. Pretty sure it's on ehentai. Chubby muffin doesn't have as great of an artstyle but I do genuinely like their stream queen comic, and I hardly see anyone talk about it. You can find most of it on pawchive. Toasty54 (I think that's his name) has been very slowly churning out "the bigger the wealthier" which is also really good and has a great premise for weight gain. Also most of it on pawchive. And I'm sure there's a lot more out there! I think in the end of the day each artist has strengths and weaknesses. I do think SDC is one of the best in the comic scene though: they draw a variety of sizes, all pages in color, pages come out often, and the art quality is pretty high. Yes they suffer with pacing here and there but overall I really enjoy their comics. Kip has been a dumpster fire for like a decade, I'm honestly surprised how popular they still are (I will admit I do like the batshit ass characters they write though). Pixiveo is great but wow the pacing to log myu is sloooow. Whenever he makes a side comic it's usually a banger (midori's growth, lai-e, now he's doing one with a red head). DrBlackJack does have some weird plots but I like that most of his comics are a reasonable length and it's nice that it's mostly fanart, most wg comics tend to be OCs. Belt-buster's comic started very strong imo but it's been years and the girls gained like maybe 20lbs each. Weird because he draws way bigger sizes often as individual pieces. Spellsx makes amazing comics but they come out rarely and honestly don’t seem to be what he's really into. And that's every comic artist in this scene I'm familiar with... lmk if I missed any good ones

>>315116 Tbh I feel like salt isn't so much a "comic artist" but more of a general wg fetish artist that occasionally does comics. The comics he has done are amazing though for sure, I loved the one w the girl on the beach and couple stuff. Losing control was good too. His comics read more like fleshed out sequences though imo, but honestly I like that because they don’t beat around the bush. Overall though I prefer salt drawing individual pieces though because I'd honestly rather him not trap himself in comic prison for the next 4 years... Also in my original comment I forgot to mention supersnacksized, he has his revenge comic running which honestly looks good but I'm not currently following it. I looove his short comics though, the thanksgiving one and the one with the gamer girl are incredible. Also read more like sequences which is a quality I'm totally down for. He's on pawchive under "annonxyz" as far as I remember Looks like sweetnessadmirer also has a comic going called "larger than lifestyle" or something which honestly looks good but I haven't read it yet.

I'm starting to get a bit tired of seeing just those two characters interact for dozens of pages with no passage of time. It feels like several months have passed in the comic's timeline, so I'd love to see what happened to the other characters soon. It would be great if the blonde streamer girl—who got hooked on pizza thanks to the red-haired girl—and the office worker who only ate salads while taking an interest in the streamer both showed up all fattened up. It probably would have been better if the weight gain had been divided into multiple stages and breezed through in just a page or two to wrap things up within 100 pages, but this kind of slow pace is totally fine too, as long as it doesn't get as excessive as kipteitei.
