Look at how much lazier SDC became when comparing the first page to the newest one. Each panel had different backgrounds, lighting and effects while the newest one is so flat and empty. The first page isn't the only exception btw. Legit just look at the first 20 pages and compare them to the most recent ones. It's embarrassing.

SDC stated 2-3 (lost track tbh) years ago that she is fully committed to female-only content and has since phased out her male content entirely (nuked it off all her accounts in fact). Despite initially stating that One Chance Karma will last until the end of the first chapter, we got one more page and that was it. As much as I wish the comic would be revived, sadly nothing indicates that SDC is willing to commit to that. Unfortunately, it might be best to move on at this point. Even the all-female spin-off of Haruki and Yuki comic was shelved indefinitely not too long ago, and it has been stuck in development hell for roughly two years before that (I know making comics isn't easy, but a year+ long wait does indicate some internal problem or even burnout). Who knows, we'll see what the future brings once these long, slice-of life comics are done. Personally, I'd love to see short sequences make a comeback on SDC's regular schedule.

I don't think the pacing was sped up simply because readers weren't interested. During the first several dozen pages of DD, even many of the supporters complained that the story was progressing too slowly, and the number of likes was relatively low. Despite that, the pacing remained unchanged. With Baker Dozen, however, each episode can last for several pages before suddenly skipping ahead by a month or even three months, which makes the overall progression feel much faster. It makes me wonder if the original plan was changed because, if both ongoing comics progressed at such a slow pace, the creator might have been worried about losing supporters. By making Baker Dozen move faster while keeping DD slow, they can balance the two series. If that's the case, then it actually makes me think DD will continue to maintain its slow pacing and end up becoming a very long series, potentially spanning several hundred pages.

Kip is laughably bad and they're releasing a comic that has been going on for 5 years now and is arguably their worst. Pixiveo isn't doing fetish art. Dr. Blackjack is has the most morbid writing in history and the comics are unreadable. There are more but I can't be bothered. Even if someone is degenerate enough to like morbidity, usually the morbidity is woven into the fat fetish, such as heart failure, or blob immobility imprisoning someone, or popping from how fat they are.
