For the few that gave me a response, there was unfortunately no real follow up. Here's a few reasons why they maybe decided not to: I might have moved too fast to wanting to hang out in a public place. I do not have my face on my profile. Profile description didn't seem interesting enough.

It's a well-known fact that Feabie is the Seventh Circle of hell. If there was ever anybody on there worth meeting, they've probably been banned by now. In the last 9 years I used Feabie occasionally and yeah I can confirm like 98 % is just a waste of time. And yes feabie is on the whole awful, but for all the scammers and women who think they deserve to be paid for the privilege of having a conversation, there's plenty that are looking for a real connection with someone who appreciates their weight.

I specifically want to articulate a conclusion I came to a while ago but never considered it so simply. There are many people on this website who aren't interested in a conversation, and they're the type to message back one word replies if at all. Understanding when someone grew bored and doesn't care about engaging further is important. Know what else is the case? People who want to have conversations but have very poor abilities to keep a conversation going. They'll message back and they'll speak like they care in tone but are not good at keeping a conversation going or have nothing to say, these are likely good listeners types who just can't talk to save their lives. When girls in the profile say "don't just message me saying 'hey'", these are the kind of people they are referring to, but they're talking to you now (you probably messaged them first, if they reached out to you maybe you're hotter than me, idk).
