Strictly by population there should be 2x as many South Asian models for every white girl. But the two dominant cultures on the subcontinent, Muslim and Hindu, are repressed and patriarchal. Women are the property of their fathers/husbands and so are their bodies and sexuality. The good news is the massive emigration to North America and Europe means these women are letting their hair down. South Asian models weren't a thing at all 10 years ago and there will be many more 10 years from now.
