Where do you draw a line? If at all Anon us
No. 92097
Many of us have partners who are large women but not into the idea of feedism or gaining weight. Some of us have been open and brought up the topic, others have assumed and always kept it secret. Ever since I started dating, when I was sixteen there's always been the temptation to enable or secretly feed somebody, subtly mess up an attempt to diet or start exercising. I'm sure many others feel similar because I see posts about it on the gen page all the time. At some level doing this is either sort of fucked up or straight up abuse depending on how you see it. But many of us still stuff the pantry with our partners favorite snacks, suggest a fast food run late at night, throw an extra portion, some more sugar or butter into their food. Where do you draw the line? If at all? For me in my younger days, I worked at a coffee shop, I "gift" my girlfriend at the time who had a huge sweet tooth a dozen or two donuts at least once a week saying it's for her family, knowing she'd eat them all. Bring her home an extra large, extra sugary coffee every time I saw her, late night runs to McDonalds she didn't ask for, you name it. I sabotaged a few attempts to get healthy by surprising her with gift cards to fast food restaurant and boxes of candy. I watched her go from 180lbs to 270lbs in our two years dating. And in the years since she's gotten up into the 300lbs. My current girlfriend I've been less overt but I feel into the temptation and I've made sure to always have my cabinets stocked with her favorite snacks and to send her a $20 for food whenever shes having a bad day. She's gone from 230 to 330lbs in the three years we've dated. Some people would call me an abuser, others would say that they decided to eat the food, I didn't force them. What do you think and where is your line?
For me there's no line. I've repeatedly sabotaged my wife's diets and routinely tempt her with food. I know she doesn't actually want to lose weight and when left to her own devices will put on about 5 pounds a month. At this point I'm sick of her song and dance about needing to diet, feeling bad about herself for a few days/hours/minutes, and then going on to eat the same shit that's been fattening her up. Once she talked about going on a diet and ordering pizza for dinner within a single sentence. I try to erode whatever hangups she has about her size too, praising her for her looks, playing with her fat all the time, etc.
