So met this short girl online who used to be around 350lbs at her peak but lost a bunch of weight after the pandemic. She's 275lbs @ 5'2 last she checked. Basically the title. She's 5'10, 210lbs. Her biggest was 230lbs. That was before i met her, then she lost the 20lbs. Recently, my partner has begun losing weight, and it’s been tougher than I like to admit. I’m sure all of us who have been with a fatty long enough has heard the dreaded phrase “I want to lose some weight”, only to be relieved a little while later after they give up after losing no/minimal weight. That’s how it had always been for my partner, and over the years, she slowly gained up to 315 lbs. Recently however, there have been two factors that have caused her to lose some weight. A) We’ve been trying unsuccessfully to have kids, and when she visited her Dr, the Dr told her that they wouldn’t prescribe the fertility medication unless she lost 15 lbs. B) She has started Vyvanse, and it has absolutely killed her appetite. Meals are often left unfinished and she is way less snacky than she used to be. These combos have lead to her losing 20 lbs so far. I know it isn’t that much in the grand scheme of things, but it is noticeable and it makes my heart sink knowing that she’s below 300. I’m hoping that once she does get pregnant and has to get off the Vyvanse for the pregnancy, all her weight will come back and then some. I am happy for her that she did this so that we could get the medication prescribed, but it hurts to know she’s thinner than she used to be and there’s no signs of stopping. Does anyone else have experience with their partners losing weight? If so, did they keep the weight off, or did they eventually gain some of it back?

I’ve been following this board for over a year, and only today have I felt the need to finally post something.
